Self-portrait: JROCK

So I woke this morning after a night of Halloween clubbing, with my make-up half gone and my hair all retarded, and I thought...

'damn I look like a wreck. A damn BEAUTIFUL WRECK!'

And so I took a picture.

I went as a goth btw. Turned out more jrock than goth, but hey that's even better!

Masks: draft

So I've been hanging this around for a month or so. I would've uploaded this sooner but I just hate how it sounds right now (mainly because it's my own vocals lool).

I don't know what to call it, but for now I'm naming it Masks.

(p.s. I know my screams suck, shut up)

Lyrics:

Sweet tastes are bitter tasting with every thought of you
I'd whisper of love embracing, but that would never do
Depart, rid me of this broken heart adieu.
But there's so much that I can't leave here
So much, there's too much, that I couldn't bear if they were to

Break! Even if I had to make me feel like there was nothing left but traces of the past.
I could've sworn there was nothing of you left in me
I'd never tell cause I don't want your sympathy
I just wish you'd look the other way
And forget what you'd see

And slowly I can feel it crawling
The sun just passes through
There's nothing that I can do
But covers, masks and disguised faces

Tepid screams and sandy sleeping, nights of tearing blue
Catch your hand with friendly smiling while halving these beats in two
See the me that's laughing now, feel the warmth that's inside me now
I'm not worth a single thump of your beating heart

And slowly I can feel it crawling
The sun just passes through
There's nothing that I can do
But covers, masks and disguised faces
Hope is gone, the hearts have been shifted
But there never was a clue

Foolish through and through
I'll turn astray and hope that you will find
The heart that I hold for you

Self-portrait: Do as dodo

My day didn't go as planned, so I decided to take advantage of the place I found myself at, and tried out this 'self-portrait' thing.

I guess you could say he was over 'bird'ened, with me following him and all.

EB Games Expo - The Show and other cool stuff.

So this was the opening show before the main showground opened. The highlight for me was this live twitter feed.

Look look! You can see my tweet! 'Loving this tetris dubstep'. I then followed it up with this.
See it? It says 'Saw my tweet on the live twitter feed. Acheivement Unlocked!'. Haha so worth it. Wonder if I was the cause of any lols in that moment.

Oh my goodness, this game is godlike. I recommend to all to try this out. Same makers of Mortal Kombat, Injustice is a fighting game incorporated with heroes and villains from the DC universe, so like Batman, Joker, Superman and stuff. It looks super cool, characters look damn awesome, and the moves are quite attractive. And their ultimate moves... oh goodness, best eye candy.

Our turn was actually over and we hadn't seen Batman's ultimate yet, but he let us stay abit and watch another set of players execute it... it's damn worth it.
Signed by Ed Boon himself.

These grafitti works were placed outside the main area. I'm assuming these were made during the live art thing during the Friday session.

Finishing off the day joining our powers.
It was quite a fun day, with my mates Vince and Matthew. Overall the expo wasn't offering that much; probably wasn't worth the $40, but it was still fun for what we did. I mean I played the new Hitman, Halo, COD, and all these other things before their release date.

I recommend attending next year, if you're waiting on an extensive list of games to come out.

Till next time!

EB Games Expo - Toys and Gadgets!

There were so many nifty toys and things at the expo. Most of their products were showcased very impressively. If they weren't so expensive, I would've came home and opened a branch of Toys R Us. Seriously.

Tank from Left 4 Dead. This particular stall said all the merchandise displayed there would be sold at the store... this wasn't. It was saddening.
All made of MegaBlocks, which to me is just some cheap Lego. But still... LEGO! That's insane!

This to is made from the MegaBlocks. This was taller than me, which if you know me isn't saying very much, but for what it's worth... yeah it's damn big.

I think this is Thor's Hammer? Or someone important's hammer. Definitely a hammer of some sort.

Halo stuff. And yes, these are all still MegaBlocks.
This ain't a cosplay. I think it was a wax statue. So damn real. And if Batman was that tall in real life, then DAYUM! You can tell how tall he is from the angle this was shot.
Portal gun! Non-functional unfortunately.
Daenerys Targaryen from Game of Thrones. Less hot in figure form.

Minecraft swords. Made of foam, unforunately.
This epic gun, from a game I can't put my finger on. Someone let me know.

Figures!

Companion Cube!!! <3
Epic Ezio.
Marshmellow from Ghostbusters. So cute! Less daunting when smaller it seems.

This rig looks insane! Dem tuuubes. The game it was running looked crisp and smooth too. I want tubes in my tower now.

These guys were demonstrating insane overclocking and cooling the hardware with liquid nitrogen, which is what is pouring out of the fan.

This thing scared the shit out of me. Innocently waiting in line and this thing starts moving! Advertising the game ZombiU.

There were some other insane stuff including a 1:1 scale of Ezio like the Batman one. I really wish I didn't come home empty handed, but there was really nothing I was interested in, not too mention expensive.

Next post will be other good photos, in no specific category (cause I couldn't think of any). Not as much as this. Sorry there's so much, but you just have to see these things.

Sorry if your scrolly fingers got sore.
